70's Flashback

I have recently been hired to do some illustrations related to properties from the 70's. The first being Planet of the Apes (okay technically the first movie was 1968). Blam! Ventures is launching a series novels set in the 1970's PotA universe.

the second is a comic adaptation of Kolchak: The Night Stalker from Moonstone Books

Erik, your paintings are so rich, moddy and yet accurate, I cannot believe you don't get more attention.

Kan, and the pro parade continues. Your words are very flattering, and I am glad my work resonates so much with you. Keep up the good work yourself.

This piece has a strong Jeremy Geddes feel to it. This is my favorite piece of yours

although I'm not too clear on who's hand that is on the left side of the painting because it's not possible for it be on the same body as the head - unless that upper arm is 5 feet long. Just angle the wrist in in photoshop - everything else is great.
