Another reason I have been absent from the blog is, a year and a half ago I was hired by Dark Horse Comics to be the regular cover artist for The Strain comic series. Let me just say right now that I am a huge fan of both Guillermo del Toro and The Strain trilogy of novels. So when they offered me this job I knew it would be a a strain on my schedule (see what I did there), but I had to take it.
