I think it is a little unfairly maligned, but not even close to the quality of the original. An enjoyable diversion none the less. On that note, I really enjoyed the Nightmare on Elm Street remake. I will definitely start getting into the genuinely scary picks soon.E.M. Definitely the ...In the Mouth of Madness is great. Definitely the best Cthulhu inspired movie I've seen. Vampires was campy, but not horrible.<br /><br />Sadly I've only seen the Halloween remake done by Rob Zombie, although I just caught some of Halloween 2 on TV last night and it looks like the RZ version is based off that rather than 1?
